About saunas
Saunas offer a unique way to relax body and mind; it’s no wonder that they are known for their therapeutic properties. They can reduce blood pressure for short periods, relieve joint pains, and in general convey a sense of well-being.
If you are planning on installing a sauna in your home, here are a few facts.
1. Saunas can be wet (sometimes called steam rooms) or dry.
2. Aromatherapy is made possible by using fragrant rocks.
3. A sauna may use electric or other heating methods.
4. Portable saunas work well but make sure you follow standard safety precautions which should be supplied with the sauna.
5. Alternate exposure to heat and cold is said to be therapeutic. However, talk it over with your doctor first to make sure it suits your state of health, and when to stop.
